Cody Matthew Johnson is an award-winning music producer, songwriter, and composer. As an in-demand composer and producer, Johnson’s irreverent and creative fusion of contemporary styles has lead his work to be featured in wide cross section of some of the world’s largest video game titles and franchises, such as: Trek to Yomi, Bayonetta 3, Resident Evil 2, Synced, Devil May Cry 5, PUBG: Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, Honor of Kings, Quantaar, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, and more. His works have garnered critical acclaim, live concerts, accolades, nominations, and awards from The Game Awards, SXSW Gaming Awards, Game Audio Network Guild Awards, NAVGTR Awards, Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and Digital Dragon Awards. As a songwriter, Cody has built a reputation for producing anthemic songs for video games in collaboration with or performed by well-known musical artists, such as Yours Truly, Suicide Silence, Volumes, and BAER. Johnson is a frequent lecturer at video game, technology, and music conferences as well as universities: Digital Dragons, Soundtrack Cologne, PAX East, GameSoundCon, SuperMAGfest, Tokyo Game Show, Berklee College of Music, George Mason, Musicians Institute, LIU, USC, MTSU, Vanderbilt, CSU, and more.
